Why I like De La Soul’s "3 Feet High and Rising" album cover

This is the cover for De La Soul’s first album 3 Feet High and Rising, designed by the Grey Organisation.

Another cool thing about this album is the comic strip included in the liner notes.

Why I like Jay Shaw’s Robocop poster

This is a poster that designer Jay Shaw created for the Alamo Drafthouse.

It makes sense to watch a film and say, ‘the story is about that so this image should communicate that idea well.’ Every idea can be broken down to some base image, it’s just a matter of figuring out what the image is.”

POSTERS: Otomo x Graphic Design

I picked up this book a while ago. Really cool to see Otomo combine his signature drawing style with some good typography and color!

Kate Moross

I love Kate Moross’s vibrant art style! She also has a book called Make Your Own Luck that is all about her own journey and helpful things she’s learned throughout her design career.

This typeface is amazing

Just learned about this typeface called Idler, from Lamesville. The different weights are made for layering. I love it.
